About Us

• Listen to the client.
My job is to listen to you, to learn what your needs are and what you would like from your space.

• The hand of the gardener should not be seen.
Whenever possible leave a garden looking effortless and naturally balanced.

• Work with nature.
Make choices based on what can contribute to natural flow: choose site appropriate plants; minimize the need for irrigation; mimic natural dynamics.

Michael Hunter

I’ve been landscaping in Seattle for 20 years. I studied horticulture at Edmonds Community college and sustainable design with the Seattle Permaculture Guild.

I am a husband, father, and active member in the Seattle west African music community.

I deeply enjoy my work. I enjoy the diversity of it — from the weeding and general cleaning to assessing a site and manifesting dreams into reality, then watching them evolve and grow.

My work is about connection. Connecting with you, with your space and the dynamics of that location, and with the community of people that it takes to bring into reality what you’d like to see.
